Accelerate at MACH Speed. This is the theme of the third MACH Alliance
MACHathon.

The MACH Alliance was established in June 2020 to help companies take advantage of the most innovative and flexible enterprise technologies available. Our MACHathon invites innovators, big thinkers and MACH enthusiasts to prove the power of MACH (Microservices based, API-first, Cloud-native SaaS and Headless) for solving real world problems fast.

Just the spark of an idea can ignite a game changing improvement or innovation. The API-driven nature of MACH means as an industry, we can deliver critical business functions as fast as we can connect to an API. Companies not offering the best Developer Experience will fail to grow. Try to scale or grow your business and technology when you fail to attract the people to do it. The MACH stack creates the best Developer Experience plus the fastest time to market.

The MACHathon runs 16th May to 1st June. Winners will be announced on the 13th June and Team Captains from the winning Teams will be invited to present their projects on day 2 of the MACH ONE Conference (29th June 2022).

  • When is the MACHathon?

    From 12 am GMT on the 16th May 2022 to 11:59 pm GMT on the 1st June 2022

  • What is the MACHathon about?

    Be the change that you want to see in this world - create a solution to a problem you´re seeing or know the industry is experiencing.

  • How much time will participants need to spend?

    You are free to choose how much/how little time you want to spend with the MACHathon. From our experience, best results are produced when participants have at least 20 hours for the duration of the full MACHathon.

  • Do participants have to use MACH Alliance vendor products? If so, how many?

    We expect that the teams want to use products or components from MACH Alliance members in their projects and we will make those available. This is not an obligation but will be part of the judging framework. Teams using their own API first, Cloud native, Microservice components are absolutely free to do so.

  • How will the submissions be judged?

    Our expert panel of judges will assess the MACHathon results against a predefined judging framework, and based on the fundamental ideas we had when we created this MACHathon. We’re proud to have formed an internationally renowned and very diverse panel of judges from both business and technology backgrounds. We will publicly announce the Jury ahead of the competition.

  • When is the Award Ceremony?
